    Hello,
I am working on a project in FCP 7 that is DV/DVCPRO-NTSC, 29.97 fps, 720 x 480, Pixel aspect is NTSC-CCIR 601. I created a Motion movie but when I import into FCP it is too big, goes beyond safe zones. Is there anything else I can do besides scaling it down in FCP using the motion tab? I used the same settings (720×480) for my Motion 4 project. I would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions.
    Thank you,
    Brad

Just to make sure I understand this correctly. You are working in a 720×480 project in FCP. You then created something in Motion that is 720×480. You then place the motion project file in your FCP timeline and it changes the scale of the project to something like 120% instead of what it should be which is 100%?

That is exactly right! I am trying to scale it down in Motion which means I am going to put something behind it so the black does not show.
