  Vector Graphics and Motion

  I have read a lot about this problem on this site.

  Still scratching me head.

  My vector graphic that has been saved using the pdf option is still being imported as a rater file. The browser recognizes the .ai file. The result is a nasty pixelated mess that I can not scale.

  Yuck!

  After you bring the Illustrator file into Motion, just select it, press Shift+F (takes to you the Media tab), then uncheck the Fixed Resolution checkbox. This will allow the vector image to be rasterized at whatever size it is on-screen. Hope this helps.
