Can’t get red motion tracking icon
Posted by Pete Pedulla on October 14, 2010 at 3:29 pmSimple question:
I’m trying to add a match move behavior to an object, but the version of Motion I’m using doesn’t show the red motion tracking icon – the one to designate the anchor point.
I’ve tried a bunch of view options, but none seem to work.
What am I missing?
Thanks,

October 14, 2010 at 3:45 pmAdd the Match Move behavior to what you want to move (Track Two). Select the Match Move Behavior and then open up the HUD or the Behavior tab. You will have a Source Well. Drag what you want to track (Track one) into the well and then you will get a tracker circle. Hope this helps and best of luck.

February 11, 2011 at 9:23 pmHi Stephen,
I’ve had this problem sporadically too.
Right now I can’t get the anchor tracking point to show up.
I select the top layer (a star from the library), then select Behaviors, Motion Tracking and Match Move.
I drag the background layer into the source box, but no anchor points. The twirl bar in the side (in HUD), won’t twirl down. There’s no “Analyze” option appearing either.
Bamboozled.

September 18, 2011 at 11:59 pmHi Stephen,
I have the same problem as Roger. I can´t get the anchor tracking points, neither the analyze option in the movement parameter on the Behavior´s tab. Please help.
Blessings,
Jeymi
