  H.264 in Motion 4

  Hi,
  I am wondering if anybody has any current info on dealing with H.264 1080p footage shot with a Nikon HDSLR in Motion? I sent a timeline from FCP7 to Motion 4 and the play back is awful.
  I am working with this type of footage for the first time and have only seen sporadic posts on the Cow, mainly dealing with data rate.
  I have been advised to export a QT movie and import that into motion.
  Any other opinions out there?

  The advice to convert your Nikon footage from H.264 to a QT movie is right on. I don’t own a Nikon by Cannon has a plug-in so you can Log and Transfer clips in FCP for better play back. Does Nikon offer a plug-in like that>
