  color problem with the masking tool – explaination inside

  i’ve been trying to make the “getting hit by a car” effects with adobe after effects…but when i recorded the video…i got two different colors inside one video…i uploaded a photo for you to see what i mean, and i can’t do it like that,and i really don’t want to mask myself in each frame, because it takes a long time, so…can anyone please help me ?

  You have to do color correction so that both footage will look similar.

  An easy way is to Precompose both footage, align then on viewer side by side. Now lock one composition and work on another by applying Levels, Curves, Hue and Saturation or using some 3rd party plugin like Red giant Colorista or color finesse.
