Beginner to Motion
what is the Best way to go about Learning Motion on ones own. i am a Total beginner to Motion and the Final Cut Studio.

I have DVDs and books (depends on how you like to learn) available at https://www.applemotion.net.
Stephen Smith, who is another moderator on this forum, has Motion training available through the Cow on this site as well.

The nice thing about a training DVD is that it will build you a foundation and then build on it. Take a look at my Moving with Motion Training DVD commercial. I think it is a great product and has gotten great reviews. However, I’m biassed.

While you are waiting for Stephen’s DVD to arrive in the mail, you could open up one of the pre-built items in the Motion Cotnent files, re-save it with a new name, then start playing with taking it apart, turning parts of it on and off and changing settings here and there, dragging the pieces around on the screen, and trying out the different 3-d camera viwes and perspective views, just to get familiar with it.

I have Quite a Few Learning DVDs. and Books. the DVDs are From Ripple Training and the Books. are Mainly from the Apple Pro Training Series. i think the Books are above me. and i wish that the DVDs would play on the tv. and not just the Computer. i’ll like to stop the TV. and then do on my computer as they are in the Video. i’ll post More Later Thank You. All the Ripple training DVDs and downloads will play quite happily on an Apple TV hooked up to your TV…
