Timecode reader
Maybe it’s me, but I can’t find a TC reader in Motion. Does anyone know of one?

If you are using Motion 4, it’s in Library > Generators > Text Generators
If you are using Motion 3, well then, it’s not there.

Close, but that’s a TC generator. I want Motion to read the TC from my clips to make window burns.

You can use the offset to have it match timecode from a particular clip. But for a true TCR, you’ll need to use Final Cut Pro.
