  Text from Motion, Randomly hops in FCP

  Motion 3 to FCP 6

  I created 35 5s advertising “bumps”.

  4 Random ones have the following problem:

  1 or two letters (O’s and S’s) in each hops up for one frame, and hop back the next.

  It looks fine in motion. Any thoughts? I am rendering from motion to FCP in QT, ProRes422, 720×486 CCIR 601. (Dimensions of our Scoreboard)

  Like I said 31 bumps have no issues. I am stumped.

  Solved. Font Size issue. . .

  Those four font sizes must have been wreaking mathematical havoc during the 3D camera move. . .

  Specifically font sizes 82pt an 104pt. Anyone have insight into this?

  This is one of those weird things that has happened to me every once and a while and I have no idea why. Just re-render it and it will go away. If you don’t want to re-render the whole thing use the blade tool and cut out just the messed up part and re-render it. Hope this helps.
