    Hi guys,

Not really sure exactly what my question is :s but fishing for some help with the paint tool…

im using it with a tablet and the “write on” feature to create some animated strokes; i usually i use TC stroke or particular but wanted to give this a try as it seems a fast and intuitive way of working…

anyway, i just dont get it – when i draqw a stroke, sometimes it creates a nice animated stroke, sometimes nothing :s some of the presets work well, others dont…

also dont exactly get the workflow: any pointers, tutorials etc welcome…

    ta

    Elin

It’s all the those pesky details :p

If you make a paint stroke, it won’t automatically animate. Some of the presets will, as you’ve noticed. The way I do it is to create the stroke, then go to Behaviors > Shape > Write On. Then I control the Write On Behavior from the Behaviors Tab.

Another way is to select the paint tool, then go to the HUD. Click “Write On”, then make your stroke. Adjust the behavior in the Behaviors Tab.

    Makes sense?
