  • Exporting via Compressor causes text to go wonky

    Hi there

I’ve been producing a project entirely in Motion 3 for the purposes of, amongst others, going onto a DVD. I’ve exported the project via Compressor straight into an MPEG-2 format for the DVD, but for some reason doing this causes problems with the text.

As an example, here is how the text looks in Motion; and here is how the text looks on the MPEG-2 encoded file. This sort of thing seems to happen to most of the text in one way or another, however the graphical elements of the project all seem fine.

Is there some setting I’m missing here?

    Thanks in advance.

    Rob,

Render the movie out of Motion first and then do the conversion.

Do we know why that happens? It’s a bit annoying to have to export in another format in order to get the text to look right…
