Multiple Slates using the same background
Hello,
I hope there is a way to do this! I’m trying to build multiple slates using the same still frame as background. I have a timeline with 10 :30 spots and they need individual slates. I’m adding the still frame that will be used as a background in front of each spot then right click the first one to send it to “motion project”. After adding all the text I save it and automatically sends the changes back to FCP, so far is good. If I send the second one I have to make a new project and so on for every slate. Is there a way of duplicating the first slate as many times as I need and modify them individually without making new projects. Right now I send the first one and create jpegs for the rest. Thanks!

Thanks! it works awesome, this is a great feature. One more thing, I’m adding sound effects to my template but it doesn’t show up when I open them in FCP. Does it support audio? Thanks!
