I’m trying to make a quicktime movie with transparency from a few layers in my multi layer project. However every time I export my selected layers the outcome is substantially less sharp than the original.

I’m trying to reduce the number of layers in the project so I want to bake a few. I’m working in 1920 x 1080. The project is 3D and uses lights. I have render on best. Motion blur is off. Frame blending is off. Resolution is at full. Using animation with alpha. But the outcome appears to loose about half or more of its resolution. If I export using compressor the results remains crisp but I loose transparency.

    Any advice?

    Thanks, Ellen

Well I got it to work by making it a new file and deleting all the layers that I didn’t want then exporting to quicktime. Now it’s crisp. Don’t know why the other didn’t work, but for the time being the hurdle has been jumped.
