  Mirror effect & soft edges

  There are some nice effects in Keynote that I want to reproduce in Motion. Namely, to have a mirror image of a photograph below it and to produce a soft, blurred edge to the photograph. What seemed so straightforward in Keynote, seems so obscured in Motion. I have to admit to not having a huge experience in Motion.

  The Quick and easy way.
  Go to the templates. Choose Directions, Float.HD. Delete every thing you don’t want and put your photo in the drop zone and you have the reflection.
