Photo Fall
I’d like to apply an effect to a title where I have multiple photos fall into view, as if they are coming from behind the camera and landing on a table. I want to achieve as natural a look as possible, with the photos flipping through the air as they fall.
Any suggestions / tutorials on how this can be done?

Sounds kinda 3d. You can try to mock something up with wind and rotation. Shouldn’t be too tricky. That said, why not just print out the photos and shoot it for real? It will look 1000% more realistic than anything you can do in Motion. 🙂

Motion 3 Throwing Photos in 3D
Build an animated title sequence that simulates photos being thrown onto a surface.the only major flaw is Motion’s, there are no realworld shadows from thee otherwise realworldish lights.

I would suggest creating a 3d motion project and adding the gravity behavior to your photos. The gravity behavior will cause the images to move as if they were under the pull of gravity, slowly accelerate until they reach the stopping position.
