A killer Lens Flare would be very cool. Until then you may want to check out SUGARfx Light Pack, I’ve never used it but the demo looks impressive.

You should take a look at Knoll Light Factory from Red Giant. It’s the mother of all lens flare plugins.

I’d ask for them to redesign the keyframe window. And I’d ask for point by point softening of each mask (similar to Shake & Silhouette Roto).

Whatever gets added will steal resources from attending to the long list of junk that needs that needs to be fixed. But the silliest missing part at the moment is shadows.
