  Motion tracking basic question

  I have a clip of a guy ‘shooting with’ a drill. I made a small circle that I want to motion track the tip of the drill.

  I followed the Apple Motion 3 book and tried to copy the steps from a simple motion tracking procedure to my project.

  1) I sent the clip to Motion from FCP
  2) I created a circle in Motion and laid this on top of the clip in the canvas.
  3)I applied Motion Tracking-Match Move behaviour while the circle is selected.
  4)In the HUD I selected Four Corners

  5)I am not getting the yellow crosshairs to set the tracking parameters… why not?

  Found a tutorial on the net that showed me the way…
