    Hey All,

Sorry if this has been covered, but a forum search turned up nothing. I’m trying to animated the blend mode of a video clip in Motion 3. I’d like to go from overlay to normal over the course of about 140 frames. I don’t see a way to key frame it, and when I tried to record the change, no workee. What gives? I suppose I could just double up the track and animate the opacity, but I just can’t bring myself to do it yet. Am I missing something?

    Thanks,

It’s rare to find a program that will let you animate between blend modes.

The Boris Continuum plug-ins will let you animate between two blend modes on many filters, but if you want to do it without performance enhancing drugs, then go with your instinct. Duplicate the track and stick on a Fade-in/out behaviour (or keyframe. it’s up to you!)

    All the best,
    Ben
