  Beginners Motion Tutorial?

  Hi, I’ve never used Motion before & need a beginners tutorial to help me learn the layout & how filter, effects, etc function.

  The first goal in using the program is for free form masking a freeze frame imported from FCP. I would like to matte off different areas for some composite layering, & then export back to FCP as a still image. Can anyone recommend any online video tutorials for this?

  they have some free online tutorials and for $ ones.

  lynda.com offers a variety of software training for $25/month.
  Their Motion training can’t be beat for the price.

  I agree, lynda.com is great for the price. However they offer ZERO tutorials on Motion 3.
