altering video, like yoostar does
I’m trying to research and learn how to use after effects cs6 to remove actors from movie clips and add other actors in their place
Like the first Yoostar did. In researching, it looks like rotoscoping is something i need to learn, is that correct?
Been searching thru the cow database and I must not be searching for the right terms as I’m not getting any results.
Is there a specific name for the video editing technique of replacing characters in movies? Any great tutorials to start with
It will greatly help me cut my time to finding the tutorials i need to learn how to do this?

You are right with the technology that has been used in Yoostar.
Rotoscoping is used to remove the characters and then Kinect is used to place other actors.

I’m wanting to do this without using Kinect, strictly using After Effects CS6.
