Motion does not work correctly in Leopard. In fact Leopard should not be installed on any system running FC Studio 2 at this time until Apple releases their Studio 2 updates for Leopard.

This has been repeated on this forum and the Final Cut Pro forum quite often.

Along with the final version of Tiger 10.4.11, Apple yesterday released a series of ProApps updates which ensure Leopard compatibility and improve speed and stability etc under Tiger 10.4.11

Check out the Apple website or Software Update . . .

    hello marcelamp
After making an image of my system drive, I installed Leopard and found Motion worked, so did FCP, but playback of Motion clips in FCP always caused FCP to freeze… so back to Tiger come Monday.
I hope you also imaged your drive first?
    Mark.
