Light shining through behind image… NEED HELP!!!
I have an imported jpeg that I want to create strong light shining through from behind (moving from left to right), covering the edges of the outline. I tried many things from using a light as well as using the glow effects including light rays. Nothing gives me exactly what I need. Could anyone help me out? I’m desperate.

When I select the “Light Rays” filter I get parts of the image (imported text jpg) coming forward with the rays.

Forgot to mention that I need the rays to covers the entire edges of the imported text jpeg. The picture I gave doesn’t really do that.

Thanks Peter! I’m going to try that tonight when I get home. I just hope my old graphics card, GeForce FX 5200, can handle it.
