  animating an arrow

  I have an aerial photograph of an extreme-race course onto which I’d like to animate an arrow/path delineating the course. This seems like a tool that the folks at apple would have been clever enough to include in Motion, but I haven’t found out how to do it yet. Does anyone know if this is possible in Motion (or any of the other FCP Suite programs) and how to do it?

  I’d go with animating a brush stroke using paint.

  It doesn’t have an arrow head on it but shouldn’t be too difficult to add one.
