    Hi, thinking of getting the package, but does it do masks like in after effects, is it that kind of thing, can you cut bits out of clips and then composite them togehter in the package, sorry it’s prob a bit obviouslous question

    Yes- I find the masking capabilities to be easier to use than AFX’s too.

    I’ve got a dvx 100.. they’re a good camera.. WOuld there be a need for shake if you got motion..

    That would depend on your needs. Shake is best at things like heavy duty green screen compositing. Motion excels at motion graphics and animation with limited compositing.
