  • Trying to recreate a LiveType project (with effects) in Motion

I know this may be an Apples & Oranges thing, but with Motion incorporating more and more LiveType functionality, is there any sort of guide (written or otherwise) that matches Motion behaviors to LiveType effects? The LiveType effects I’m specifically looking to match for are:
    -Light beam Out
    -Light Beam In
    -Squeeze Out
    -Sign Off
    -Horizontal Blur

    Thanks for any advice.

Check the text animation behaviors- remember you can always combine Livetype animations into Motion projects. But generally there’s not much Motion can’t do that LiveType can.

[Noah Kadner] “Check the text animation behaviors”

Thanks I’ve already tried that. Unfortunately there’s not an exact semantic corollary between a Motion behavior and a LiveType effect. I don’t want to spend a lot of time (if I don’t have to), trying out which text behanior matches what LiveType effect. Which prompts my question about a guide.

To be clear, this is not about matching a specific LiveType font behavior, but rather a LiveType composite timeline effect.

    Thanks

Well they are very different programs with very little relation to each other in terms of design. If you want a similar effect best way to go is roll up the sleeves and figure it out on your own.
