  Sending to Motion from FCP

  I haven’t done much of this, but when I do, is it normal that filters I’ve applied in FCP don’t come along for the ride? Confused…

  Yup. that’s the way it works.

  Until recently, filters in FCP & Motion weren’t interchangeable. Some worked in both but most did not. Now FX Plug based filters work equally well in both, but I don’t think they come over when you send your FCP shots to Motion.
