I’m a complete novie on Motion, but was wondering if its possible (and by extension…How?) to create an animated image which is made up of coloured splodges, each of which cycles through the colours of the rainbow, and with each splodge starting at a different place in the colour spectrum.

    thanks in advance

Pretty easy, take the fill clolour of your splodge and then assign a random behavior to the R, G & B sliders

Cntl click on fill colour then assign the parameter. Then select behavior from the parameters at the right hand side
    of the RGB sliders
Then select randomise in behaviors and adjust the random seed to alter the initial colour.

Tweak the other parameters to get what you want
