  • Help with modifying a template…

    Hi,
I’m using Motion version 1. I found a really great free template at

https://peterwiggins.com/motiondownload.htm that I need help in adapting to my project. The template is a moving filmstrip template. The author states in the accompanying notes that it can be easily modified to add more filstrip cells. I’ve played and monkied around with it, and I know that I’m a complete newbie, but I can’t figure out how to add more cells. Would anyone be willing top explain this to me like the Motion-idiot I am? THANKS!

According to the READ ME file which Peter included in the download:

“Want to add more frames? No problem, duplicate the last frame then adjust the Y control on that frame to the bottom of the old one – easy! One thing to note though is you might exceed the area that Motion can render depending on what graphics card you use. If you find this slightly limiting your creative potential, when a frame goes offscreen, end the layer in the timeline.”

Hi, yes, thank you. I read that. Unfortunately, that statement flew right over my head. Could anyone explain, in greater depth, how to achieve this?
