Has anyone got this working? I’m using Motion 2.01 and AE7 and every time I try it I get the following error:

After Effects error: retrieving movie from file “xxx” –no QuickTIme movie found (-2048)

I’ve tried renaming the .motn to .mov but it doesn’t make any difference.

That usually happens when the information from your quicktime refrence movie can’t be found, or has changed since the last time you opened FCP. Perhaps a re-export as a self contained might help?

I’ve since learned that Adobe changed something in AE7 which broke the .motn import and I’m told Apple counter-fixed it with Motion 2.1!
