Hello, I am still using Motion version 1. I am producing a spot for a local bank that uses a lighthouse as their logo. The client wants the light in the light house to sweep across the screen, at one point completely engulfing the screen with its light when it faces straight forward, then continuing its sweep on around. I have been messing with the light rays filter that I applied to a simple circle. The problem is that when I keyframe the light ray to sweep around, I cannot get it to come around with the full frame look. It just looks like a flat light with no depth. Can someone please offer a method of creating this effect because I am beating my head against the wall with frustration. Thanks -J

You should consider animating a mask on a white object that fills the screen. Draw the mask to change with perspective (vanishing point) lines that change as the angle of the light “changes”.
