    I have an idea to do a stop motion project. I’m thinking I should use Final Cut pro. Here are my questions;
    1. Is this the best program for it? Is motion a better program, why?
    2. Are there any speacial tips on how this could be executed?
    3. I know that my camera (cannon elura70) doesn’t have any kind of stop motion features, how is the best way to execute this? should I record for a few seconds then move the objest?
    4. if so how many seconds?
    5.or do i capture each individual frame in the capture menu?

    your help is apreciated.

    Something like this is much better suited than FCP:

    If the camera has a memory card for stills, use that. move take picture move take picture… when card is full open quicktime PRO and open image sequence (the pictures you just took). choose frame rate and make movie. the most simple way I’ve found.
