  Create oscillator scope and sine wave effects

  Hi all,

  Bit of a specific request. I’ve been working with a client who would like to know if their idea for their ident will work in After Effects. They would like a wave to move from a frantic, white-noise effect to a clear sine wave. So a transition from image 1-2 below. This can be accompanied by sound if it helps.

  

  

  I’ve been playing with the audio amplitude effect, but not quite getting the perfect look I’d be happy with. As an aside, the sine wave also ought to be constant, rather than ‘rolling’ (if that makes sense!)

  Any help or advice very graciously received!
