I can’t seem to find a codec that doesn’t present a stagger frame (a stutter in playback that recurs at regular intervals) in a video clip created in Motion during playback in FCP, any ideas?

Depends what the original source was. Is that 24p footage? I typically export from FCP into Motion as DV-NTSC and then out of Motion as lossless.

    Thanks for the reply,
I am creating a video file from elements in the Motion Library (sci fi – starfields etc.) and images from Photoshop (logo in PNG and TIFF formats).

Lossless should be fine as long as the frame rate matches your FCP sequence.
