  Exporting from Motion DV PAL looks pixelated…

  Hi,

  Hope somebody please help with the next problem: i exported a project from Motion, using DV PAL settings, square pix. But the quicktime movie in which it resulted, looked, wel…. bad! All blurry and pixelated.
  What’s the best way/highest quality to export from Motion for DV PAL? And what settings do i have to change or use?

  Can somebody please help?

  2 things:
  1) PAL does not use square pixels.
  2) Are you viewing this on your PAL video monitor? Or in the FCP canvas? You should be using a PAL monitor, or you will never be able to see what’s going on. Consult the FCP manual to see how to hook a monitor up to your system.
