    Hi all,

Being completely new and at the risk of total embarrassment here’s my problem:

I just installed motion today opened a tutorial and the canvas is white–it does have the bounding boxes for the objects but they are not visible.

I started a new project, brought in one jpeg , bounding box visible, no image.

I also started a new project with a red background color no objects and the canvas flashes red and then turns white.

What am I missing? I have tried various resolutions, channel displays, turning layers on or off–

assets do show up in the inspector and tutorials and templates do export normally–but I can’t seem to get past a white canvas.

    Running on G5 10.4.2 I’ve re-installed twice.

    thanks.

    Lowell

    1. Make sure the CAPS LOCK key is off.

    2. Check to make sure the canvas is not set to display ALPHA. Sounds like you are looking at the Alpha channel information. Look at the spinner buttons at the top right of the canvas window below the icons. 2nd from the right should say COLOR or TRANSPARENT. If it says ALPHA, that’s the problem.

    Hi Jim,

I am in the color mode and Cap Lock is off–any other thoughts?
