Currently I am trying to create a page turning animation, a 40 photos flip through in 5 sec like flipping through a book.

I have trued several different ways in creating this, however have no success….

can anyone give me any advice..
Thank you so much in advance.

Sounds like you want to do it in Final Cut Pro:

Put up each photo for about 4 frames each and do a page peel transition between them.

    Hey Jim,

Correct me if I’m wrong, but you would have to make the page peel transitions less than two frames each, no? These things would just go by at a blur. I wonder what he ended up with?

Flip book animations are pretty quick. Can’t say I’ve tried doing it his way (6-frame clumps).

Boinx software makes a nice stop-frame recording app that works with webcams like iSight, but they are not HD resolution.

Tried stop-frame animation in film school and decided to leave it to the likes of Aardman, Mike Johnson, and Ray Harryhausen.

Some things are best just appreciated and not attempted!

Spend hours in Motion and then you find it you can do it in FCP easily and vis a versa.
