  project save version?

  when saving and exporting a project for use in FCP, what is the best (quickest, fastest rendering, etc.) way to save the project? Just as a Motion project file, and then render in FCP, or is there a better way?

  I shoot out a lossless video from Motion and import that into FCP but it’s also possible to render a project in FCP. I prefer the lossless way because it gives max quality and gives me a final piece of media.
