Is there a keyboard shortcut to jump or skip back several seconds while editing in Audition? For instance, I’m trimming “ums” and “ahs” out of a conversation, and when I make an edit, I want to jump back five seconds and listen across the edit to see if it flows well. Right now I’m using the Time Selection Tool to click into the timeline, but it would be way faster if I could just hit a keyboard command to do this.

I don’t want to return to the start position, or the beginning of the selection, or jump to a typed timecode — just five seconds earlier, relative to where the playhead is now. I’ve tried Page Up, and that takes me backwards, but most of the time it goes too far, and playback from there would waste time as I edit. Is what I want possible?

    Thanks,
    Mark
