  How can I clean up this audio?

  Hey guys,

  I am having a hard time with this audio file. I used the noise reduction but am still getting a weird hiss when he talks – I know it’s probably because the mic is crappy but is there anything you can suggest to clean it up?

  i heard a few problems.

  1. First normalize all audio to -3db to see and hear in spectral frequency
  2. I’m pretty sure you have distortion from clipping. select remove clipping
  3. you have hiss, capture noise print in spectral frequency, noise reduction
  4. remove hiss
  5. parametric eq lower 8000k, lower 400k, raise 1000k
  6. rms normalize
  7. multichannel compression
