  1 file irregular results in Audition

  Hi all,

  I am processing some audio clips in audition gathered using a rode smart lav +, recorded on to a phone. All of my post on the clips where going well up until one particular recording.

  When I try to normalize to 98.7 % the waveform is severely reduced as opposed to being amplified. This only happens to one recording, and when I use the same process on any other recording, the normalize function works to amplify the signal.

  Can’t for the life of me figure out why this is happening and all I can think of is that the recording may be corrupted, although it is playing back fine.

  Any insights would be helpful!
