  Rescuing audio – removing clothes ‘rustling’ noise with lavaliere

  Does anyone know of any trick or filter that might at least help minimize the sound of a shirt rustling sound, from an improperly protected lavaliere ?

  Jim –

  If you have a clean sample of the noise, you can use it as the “noise print” in Audition, and then remove that from the clip. You’ll need to experiment with the level of removal, since some of the noise might be in the same part of the audio spectrum as the voice, but it should help:
