I’m new to Soundbooth but I’m hoping it can fix my problem. The audio on my video footage was recorded at too low a level i believe. I raised the level on the audio track on Premiere… it sounds acceptable, but when I burned a DVD there is a hiss in the audio. Is there any way to remove this hiss (and yet have the volume increased)in Soundbooth?

I would try taking the original file (without the boosted levels that you did in Premiere), and Normalize the audio track in Soundbooth. This should bring up the audio levels without also raising the noise floor – which is what I think is causing the hiss.
