Make CD using Soundbooth
Typical story: on-the-road / lack of sleep / borrowed PC / tight deadline (and maybe poor planning)
I’ve searched, but the answers are a bit confusing.
I have a wav file of several musicians and they have asked for a simple CD with several tracks. Back-at-the-ranch, I use an older version of Audition, where I put in a few track markers and then hit ‘make CD’ in the menu. The PC I have available here only has CS4 and apparently it’s audio tool is Soundbooth. I can NOT find anything in the help file about making CDs with Soundbooth.
Surely, Adobe wouldn’t have left out this very important function? and if so, is there a work-around? (and don’t call me ‘Shirley.’)

I had found that thread during my search, but that technique doesn’t seem to work with Audition CS4. Shift-F8 does nothing – I can not even find “CD Track Cue” in the help file.
I can insert a Flash Cue Point marker in the editor window, but the only ‘mixdown’ commands available are ‘multitrack mixdown’ and ‘clip mixdown,’ where the only choices are the audio codec to use.
I’ve come to the conclusion that I must be the only person left making CDs from audio files and that Adobe simply forgot to include this function in Audition CS4.

The more I look into it, the more it seems that Soundbooth was meant to create the Master (using the Master Effect), and then the burning would be done in Encore.
