  Removing background sound of car driving in the rain

  We shot a scene in the rain and did not realize until later that right in the middle of it a car drives past. The shot still looks great but the background sound of the car driving through the water is really loud. I am not really good with audio. I am wondering if there is a way I can minimize that frequency and increase the voices. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  If there’s a place in your audio where there is just the sound of the car driving past without the voices, you can sample this section as the “noise floor”. You can then remove just that noise from the overall sound track.

  Thanks, I ended up finding Izotope RX2 Advanced and doing basically the same thing. Worked great!
