  Playback cutting out (CS4 Mac)

  Hi
  I have just got Adobe CS4 Production Premier suite (currently on trial, awaiting my activation code). It is all working fine, except for Soundbooth.
  I have recently come back to Macs after years on PCs, so I have been using Sound Forge and similar sound editors prior to this.
  When I open a WAV or AIF in Soundbooth, and press Play, it plays for about half a second, then cuts out and stops.
  I thought “maybe something is wrong with the sound file”, so I went back to a PC and opened it in SoundForge, and it played fine.
  Then I thought “maybe it is some sort of memory issue”, so I tinkered around with the preferences, but it made no difference.
  I have looked around on the web, but it would seem that nobody else has had this problem.
  Now I am wondering if this problem is due to the product still being in trial mode, though I have to say it would be a pretty useless trial that does not allow you to edit sounds?
