  Make text like jelly

  Hi guys

  Hoping someone can help me with an elegant solution to what I’m trying to do.

  I’d rather use AE for this as it’s a 2D animation I’m working on but I use C4D as well. I’m just looking for options of how to achieve this.

  I’ve got a bunch of words as text lined up on top of each other and a bunch of voice tracks that say the words.

  As the voices say the words, I want to expand the part of the word that is being said. I also want the other words to react (be pushed out of the way).

  I’ve included a link to an example here. I did this with the Reshape tool in After Effects. It’s not bad, but it’s not perfect.

  Anyway, it gets across the idea. Please take a look and let me know if you’ve got any thoughts that may help me get an elegant solution with this one.

  You can use ” Bulge Effect ” to make Jelly Like effect.

  Its in Distort>Bulge.
