  Animating null object/camera along a path to follow shape of an ‘S’

  Hi there,

  I’ve had abit of a mind block! I’m trying to animate a null object or camera to follow the shape of an ‘S’ letter really close up. I have my ‘S’ layer, which is parented to my null layer. I’ve drawn a mask path of the ‘S’, pasted the mask path properties into the position properties of the null, and the resulting effect is the ‘S’ moving in an ‘S’ shape, which isnt what im after. I’ve also tried turning on auto orient but that spins things in crazy directions. I’m sure this is very simple and im just being silly! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  Why you parented your S layer to the Null object??? No need of that.

  Just copy the Mask Shape Property from S layer Mask and Past it to the Position of Null.
