  Deleting Muted Sections Of Audio?

  I have some muted sections of audio that I need to delete so I don’t have long stretches of silence. But I don’t see a delete option when I highlight it. Please help.

  Once higlighted,just press the delete key on your keyboard.

  You could even automate the process using the Delete Silence effect in the menus.

  Thanks, Simon. I’ll try pressing delete. Could you explain the delete silence effect and automating the process?
