I have been trying to finalize a green screen composite, and i need a lightwrap style effect to bring it home. I have Sapphire, and it seems like the “Edge Flash” option will do what I need it to do. However, when I select a background layer to use as the source for the flash, it duplicates the BG layer at about 50% of its total size and uses that as the basis for the Edge Flash. This is problematic as it doesn’t cover all the edges of the foreground element. I have wracked my brain trying to figure out how to address this- precomping, the BG layer, resizing it, making it 3d- nothin seems to work. Any tips? Is there something obvious I am missing?
I am working HD rec 709, and the BG I want to use is full 1920×1080 (I have tried sizes up to 4 or 5 times that, too, but the result is exactly the same) and the duplicate BG layer it makes to flash from looks to be closer to standard DV res. Don’t know if that info helps.
    Any help would be appreciated.
