Thickening Dust Into Smoke?
Hi CC,
I’m using Particular and I’m trying to figure out how to make this dust wave that I have look more like smoke or some thin floating piece of fabric like semi-transparent silk blowing in the wind.
I’ve increased the particle count dramatically, tried changing velocity and that doesn’t seem to work. I tried increasing the Octave multiplier and scale, that helped but seems to just bunch the particles rather than smooth them out.
Can somebody point me in the right direction? Would really appreciate any feedback.

It seems to me that Trapcode Form may be a better tool to achieve what you’re after.

You have to use Trapcode Form Plug-in and for making particles look more organic, Add Motion Blur to them.
