  • Image cropped when scaling across zero – render problem

This head turn goes from screen left to screen right by scaling the head comp from -100 to +100. It looks fine in the AE viewport, but when I render, the image gets cropped. This isn’t the first time this has happened and the only solution I’ve found so far is to go to that frame, delete all keyframes, render the frame, and re-import it, replacing the animated frame. Not ideal.

The head comp is a nested precomp.

Anyone come across this before? Thanks in advance..

Are there any masks or effects on the layer or the layers in the precomp? Does the layer have its Collapse Transformations switch on? Are any of the layers involved 3D?

Haven’t seen the issue myself, just hoping we can triage it.
